About JustConvertPDF

JustConvertPDF was created in 2023 after a simple observation: every office worker, student, and professional encounters at least one PDF problem per week — a document that needs editing but is locked in PDF format, multiple files that need combining into one, a PDF that is too large to email, or a table trapped in a PDF that needs to get into a spreadsheet. Adobe Acrobat Pro costs ₹1,500 per month. Most people need it for five minutes twice a week.

Our founder, a freelance consultant who spent an embarrassing amount on Acrobat subscriptions over the years, decided that the core PDF operations — convert, merge, split, compress — should be free and accessible in a browser. Not free with watermarks, not free with page limits, not free with a mandatory sign-up that leads to upsell emails. Actually free.

Every PDF Task, No Software Required

JustConvertPDF handles the PDF operations that come up most frequently in real workflows. Need to edit a PDF? Convert it to Word, make your changes, and convert it back. Need to send five documents as one file? Merge them. Need to share just chapter 3 of a 200-page report? Split it. Need to email a 25MB presentation? Compress it to under 5MB.

Each tool does exactly what its name says. PDF to Word converts PDFs to editable Word documents. Merge PDF combines multiple PDFs into one. Compress PDF makes files smaller. No upsells, no premium tiers, no “upgrade to remove the watermark” prompts.

Document Security

PDFs often contain some of the most sensitive documents people handle — signed contracts, tax returns, medical records, bank statements, identification documents, and confidential business proposals. We take this seriously. Files are encrypted during upload, processed on isolated servers, and permanently deleted within one hour. We do not read, analyze, or store your documents. For simpler operations, processing happens entirely in your browser with no file upload at all.

The Team

JustConvertPDF is maintained by two developers based in India who believe that essential document tools should be free for everyone. We keep the team small intentionally — it means less overhead, which means we never need to introduce paid tiers or advertisements to sustain the project. Our tools are funded by the simple belief that useful things should exist on the internet without a price tag attached.
